We provide opportunities for all ages to connect with a Christ-centered community and grow in your relationship with Jesus. Feel free to scroll down see what's happening at our church.
Connect with us!
At Valley our mission is to make multiplying disciples, and we believe the best way to accomplish this goal is through life groups and discipleship groups.
We believe Life Groups are the primary way we connect together in community, grow together in applying the weekly sermon, and mobilize together for mission. These groups consist of 8-14 people that gather weekly in various homes throughout Marin.
Our life group kick-off is September 15th. Sign up for a life group here.
We have multiple discipleship group opportunities to grow deeper in our faith and experience fellowship with the men and women at Valley. We will be reading through Greg Oden’s book, Essential Guide to Becoming a Disciple: Eight Sessions for Mentoring and Discipleship.
Pastor David and Dana will be leading men-only and women-only discipleship groups on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8:15pm at the church. However, it is also encouraged to start your own group if another day and time works better.
We will be having a Membership Class during the Sunday school hour in the Fellowship Hall for both students and adults. Our intention is to review our mission and values at Valley so as a church body we may continue to make multiplying disciples in Marin and beyond for the glory of God.
The membership class will begin September 22nd and end on October 27th.
Serve with us!
Interested in serving at Valley?
We have multiple ministries at Valley that provide opportunities to serve and engage in our community, including worship, tech, youth, and kids. If you are interested in finding out more information about which areas you would like to serve, please fill out the “Volunteer Interest Form.”
Juvenile Hall Ministry
VBC has been hosting an outreach ministry to the Marin County Juvenile Hall for over 15 years. The Marin Probation Department has allowed volunteers like VBC to present the Gospel to inmates with the hope that it will encourage them to a better lifestyle and hope at a time they need it the most. We serve once a month on either Sunday or Thursday for about an hour and a half.
If you have any questions, please contact Spencer Scheer at email@example.com
Kids & Students
On Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45pm in the WCCC, we host our Awana program for kids ages Pre k-5th grade! Awana is a great opportunity for kids to play games, make new friends, and learn more about God!
Our kick-off night will be on September 18th. We hope to see you there!
One Night is a time for students to connect with new friends, play fun games, and explore our faith in Jesus. We believe that it can only take one night to connect with a small group, grow in your relationship with God, and change your life. Join us on Friday nights from 6:30-8:30pm in the WCCC (Church Gym).
Our One Night kick-off is September 13th. We would love to see you there!
